New York Stock Exchange - Office Fitout

New York Stock Exchange (formerly Wombat Financial Software Inc.)  design, develop and deliver software IP and total software solutions in their respective R&D centres located in the United States and United Kingdom.

In November 2005 Wombat F.S. commissioned Robinsons' to fit out their newly acquired prestigious office on Belfast's Dublin Road. This was to become Wombats' first corporate premises for their European division and required a modern office that reflected their vision to deliver the best next-generation financial software solutions.

Brendan Duffy, Vice President Engineering, explained the future needs of the company and the plans for expanding within a short period of time. With a dedicated project manager and help from the design team we worked through the design stages until we arrived at a solution that we felt ticked all the boxes. The design catered for the high level of technology and also for the comfort of the staff that work round the clock to support their clients in Wall Street, NY.

We created many bespoke items in the office, including a brainstorming area that enables staff to visualise ideas and draw large diagrams on the inside of a white board covered circular wall. “We find the brainstorming pod really useful during team meetings. We can easily draw our diagrams and programming without the worry of running out of space.” Ciaran Kennedy, Managing Consultant.

The company operation has expanded to become the core “Software Engineering Foundry” for the Wombat group of companies over 3 years, creating 50+ high quality engineering jobs and has since acquired new offices which we have fitted out to the same high standard with innovative ideas.
